File loss, loss of privacy, increased costs, the risk of not having internet. (The idea of ENTIRE cloud-computing is just plain impossible btw, think of drivers that you need to install before you even acces the web) Now on to a disadvantage. Say, you're totally into gaming and this cloud-computing. You're gonna have to play a game that you have to access through the internet. Now I don't how fast everyone's data transferring speed is but my pc sure as hell can't access a 14GB game and be expected to run smoothly doing so. Look at OnLive, that didn't came out as good as it was planned to do. And besides gaming, can't you just put anything on your notebook and bring that thing with you? Still if that is worked on properly, it will eventually become a standard for films.
